As a middle school principal, husband, father, and State Representative, I’ve focused on bringing common sense solutions to the challenges facing Minnesota families. From strengthening schools and protecting taxpayers to investing in local infrastructure and protecting our lakes, my focus has always been on delivering results for the communities I serve. I am proud to partner with other Solutions-oriented members to form the Suburban Solutions Caucus.
Protecting Taxpayer Dollars
Minnesotans deserve a government that spends taxpayer dollars responsibly and holds fraudsters accountable.

✅ Co-authored legislation to crack down on fraud and strengthen accountability.
✅ Worked to increase transparency and oversight of taxpayer-funded programs.

Strengthening Our Schools
As the only current school principal serving in Minnesota state government, I bring real-world experience from our classrooms directly to the Capitol.

✅ Championed measures supporting educators like school discipline, safety, and pension reform.
✅ Helped return School Resource Officers to Minnesota schools.
✅ Passed literacy, attendance, and workforce development initiatives.
✅ Earned the Legislator of Distinction Award from the Minnesota School Boards Association.
Building Strong Communities
Strong communities require smart investments in safety, infrastructure, and economic opportunity.

✅ Secured funding for the Highway 169/282 improvement project in Jordan.
✅ Helped secure funding for the Shakopee Innovation Hub.
✅ Delivered funding for Jordan’s wastewater treatment infrastructure.
✅ Supported investments that strengthen local communities and create opportunities for future growth.
Making Life More Affordable
Families should be able to keep more of what they earn and build a future in Minnesota.
Results Delivered
✅ Supported efforts to lower property taxes and reduce car tab fees.
✅ Advocated for policies that help families and seniors manage rising costs.
✅ Supported workforce and career development initiatives that expand economic opportunity.
✅ Authored legislation to reduce mandates on cities, counties, schools and local businesses because these mandates are increasing costs for all.
Protecting Minnesota’s Lakes & Rivers
Minnesota’s outdoor heritage is worth protecting for future generations.
Results Delivered
✅ Co-authored the Keep It Clean bill to help protect Minnesota lakes.
✅ Supported funding for the Prior Lake & Spring Lake boat ramps project and Prior Lake Outlet Channel Lining to make our lakes more accessible and safe.
✅ Supported investments that preserve Minnesota’s natural resources and outdoor recreation opportunities.
